Astralizey is an innovative apparel and accessories line combining astronomical and archaeoastronomical motifs with modern and technical production techniques like 3D printing, resin casting and sublimation printing. Our designs contrast secular, scientifically inspired astronomical imagery with traditional pagan, alchemical and occult symbolism as well as medieval and prehistoric astronomical charts to visually display the full history of mankind's connection to outer space and inspire a deeper connection in the future.
Through our space inspired prints and jewelry designs, Astralizey propose a balanced, secular but spiritual understanding of the universe that combines what we as a species now know about the universe around us with the intuitive sense of respect for nature that remains in our ancient traditions.
"I like to wear things with designs inspired by the mysteries of outer space, because they remind me of my place in the universe and help reinforce a cosmic perspective on the world. Astronomy inspired prints also remind me of how far we've come as a species. Our ancestors once worshipped the heavenly bodies, like the moon, and we have now walked on the face of gods. We still have farther to go; we have so much yet to discover, we barely even understand our limitations!"
-Alizey Khan, Astralizey CEO/Designer
"The size and age of the Cosmos are beyond ordinary human understanding. Lost somewhere between immensity and eternity is our tiny planetary home. In a cosmic perspective, most human concerns seem insignificant, even petty. And yet our species is young and curious and brave and shows much promise. In the last few millennia we have made the most astonishing and unexpected discoveries about the Cosmos and our place within it, explorations that are exhilarating to consider. They remind us that humans have evolved to wonder, that understanding is a joy, that knowledge is prerequisite to survival. I believe our future depends powerfully on how well we understand this Cosmos in which we float like a mote of dust in the morning sky."
